Story Summary:
Edward is a geeky comic book writer, who has been secretly in love with his best friend Bella for years. He's too shy to admit his feelings, so he writes a comic book called 'Solar Eclipse' for her as a way to express his love. When Bella starts dating Jacob, Edward spirals into depression and quits the comic before it’s finished. After an embarrassing incident, Edward is forced to reveal his love for Bella to his friends. So, when B/J finally break up, Edward is decides to use the opportunity to show Bella he wants to be more than friends.

While Bella spends the summer before senior year with her mother, Edward, at the behest of Alice and Rosalie, goes through an extreme makeover.
